Romans 12: 9 -13

Because His love is without strings

loving me, not my things

So can I love others sincerely

doing without any benefits

with eyes on the person

not the gifts

Because His love came at a price

I no longer do

the things that I used to 

before I knew Him

because I know how hurt

He felt when I did them

and the length He went

to save me from them

Because His love

refused to bow to evil

I will cling to what is good

Because His love 

also extends to others

so I will devote myself

to my brothers and sisters

Because His love

was honor for dishonor

so I shall honor

others above myself

Because His love 

rejoiced in the future

So I will be joyful 

as I wait for His return

Because His love

spoke not on the tree

so I will keep watch

even through the trials bitter

Because His love

remained cleft in the Father

So I will keep faith

and go to Him in prayer

Because His love 

He did not keep to Himself

so shall I share it

with those who shall need it
